To our church family, friends and potential guests,

 

Recently we had an outbreak of COVID-19 among several of our members. For this reason we postponed all services for two weeks. Sunday, August 29, 2021, we will begin having our regular 10:30 AM worship services. We will not have our regular pot-luck Fellowship Meal this month.

Cindy and I are definitely on the mend, gaining a little more each day. We are so thankful for our church family! Your outpouring of prayers, picking up our supply orders, medications, etc., has been overwhelming.

 

This has been the most difficult experience of my lifetime. I am weathering it, but could not be doing so without my family and church family. I've never been one to ask God for easy roads, nor for wins in competition, but that I would remain steady on course regardless of the difficulty, and do my best in the battle, giving no ground to the enemy, even when I don't earn a spot on the winners' medal stand. He makes sure none of are us losers when we keep those things in proper perspective. If our spiritual compass is true to His Word, we are always winners, even if gold we never see till heaven.  

 

We will have a Leadership Team Meeting, September 5, 2021, in order to explore actions for moving forward once again as we navigate this upsurge in COVID-19.

In addition, I entreat you to be diligent and uncompromising in praying for our friend and brother, Jeff Gibson. Melissa continues to remain by his side as Jeff struggles to overcome complications due to COVID-19. Bottom line is that he is critical. Please keep praying for Elder Jeff Gibson.

 

Pray for Lay-pastor, Steve Logan, as he steps into the pulpit this Sunday.
